Tourists need a passport, a visit visa / entry stamp and a driving licence from their home country — visitors from the US, UK, EU, GCC and many other countries can drive on their home licence, others need an International Driving Permit. The deposit depends on the car category — from around AED 1,000 for economy cars up to AED 10,000 for supercars. It is taken as a pre-authorisation on a credit card (or cash on selected cars) and released after the rental ends, once any tolls or fines are settled. Selected cars can be rented with no deposit — ask us on WhatsApp which cars qualify today.

The standard minimum age is 21 for economy cars and 25 for luxury, sports and high-value cars, with at least one year of driving experience. If you are close to the limit, message us — for some cars we can check options with your licence details.

Yes — we deliver and collect free anywhere within Dubai city, including hotels, residences and both DXB airport terminals. Delivery to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other Emirates is available for a small fee depending on distance and rental length.

Dubai's Salik toll gates charge AED 5.25 per crossing, billed to your rental at the end of the trip along with any traffic fines recorded during your rental. There are no hidden charges from our side — you only pay the official amounts, and we share the reports with you.

The daily price includes standard comprehensive insurance, routine maintenance and a daily mileage allowance (250 km/day on most cars; higher allowances on long-term rentals). Extra mileage, additional drivers and child seats can be added when you book.

Yes. If you need a car for a month or longer, our long-term lease plans are usually cheaper than paying the daily rate. One fixed monthly payment covers the car, routine maintenance and standard insurance, with no large down-payment. Plans run from one month to a year — see the Long-Term Lease category for cars available to lease and message us on WhatsApp for a same-day quote based on your lease length and mileage package.

Supercar rental in Dubai is priced per day. At DriveDXB the Ford Mustang GT starts from AED 650 per day, the Audi R8 Spyder from AED 1,588 per day and the Lamborghini Huracán EVO from AED 2,900 per day, with Ferrari models from AED 2,347 per day. Supercars carry a higher refundable security deposit (AED 10,000 on the Lamborghini and Ferraris) and a minimum age of 25. Weekly and monthly rates are lower per day — ask on WhatsApp for the cheapest supercar rental quote for your dates.

Yes — selected cars can be rented with no deposit, and many others qualify for a low deposit depending on the car and your licence. Where a deposit applies it is a refundable pre-authorisation (from around AED 1,000 for economy cars), not a charge. Tell us your budget on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly which cars are available with no deposit, zero deposit or a reduced deposit today, including monthly no-deposit options on longer rentals.

You do not need a credit card to book — bookings are confirmed on WhatsApp and the rental itself can be arranged without one on selected cars. Where a security deposit is required it is normally a pre-authorisation on a credit card, but cash deposits are possible on selected cars and a debit card may be accepted depending on the car. Message us with the car you want and we will confirm the payment options before you commit.

An economy rental car is a small, fuel-efficient sedan that is cheap to run and easy to park — on this site that means cars like the Nissan Sunny (from AED 110/day), MG 5, Hyundai Accent and Toyota Corolla. Yes — we deliver free to Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminals 1, 2 and 3, as well as to hotels and residences across Dubai, and we collect the car from the same place when your rental ends. Just send your flight details on WhatsApp and the car will be waiting when you land. Deliveries run along Sheikh Zayed Road and to Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Deira and Bur Dubai, with Abu Dhabi and Sharjah delivery available on request.

Yes — monthly car rental is one of our most popular options for residents and long stays, and monthly rates are much cheaper per day than daily rates. The standard allowance is 250 km per day on most cars, and long-term monthly rentals and leases come with higher mileage packages. If you need unlimited mileage or a higher allowance, tell us your expected driving and we will build it into your monthly quote — no surprises at return.

All DriveDXB rentals are self-drive — you drive the car yourself, which is why we ask for your driving licence at booking. You can drive anywhere in the UAE, including trips from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, and we can deliver or collect in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah on request.
